My Approach
There will always be situations in life that don’t make sense to us; natural disasters, sudden loss, violence close to home or far away. My approach to life and therapy is that with support, we can learn new ways to navigate that which feels impossible and find deeper meaning.
I support my clients collaboratively with Narrative Therapy. Together we can deconstruct obstacles that feel too big to face alone; we can see your goodness, skills, and hope separate from your struggles; and we can build goals that feel possible.
I also believe that each person is the expert in how they would like their life to be (Person-Centered Therapy). I believe that people possess inner wisdom and often solutions (Solution-Focused Brief Therapy) and that sometimes we need a step-by-step plan to give us some relief (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).

Education
I completed my Masters of Counseling degree in 2024. My goal is to provide financially accessible mental health services for individuals seeking culturally sensitive, compassionate, and supportive therapy. For your convenience, and to ensure accessibility I only provide secure virtual sessions in Alberta.
Prior to being a mental health practitioner I worked in Human Services and teaching. I have worked with diverse populations that have neurodevelopmental disorders (ADHD, FASD, ASD), mood disorders, trauma, and anxiety. I am a lifelong learner, a writer, historian, and world traveller. I am also bilingual German-English.
